1. Go to the Prontera Church pront234314 in the northeastern corner of Prontera. Go to the room on the right-hand side and talk to Father Mareusis. He will ask you to go meet one of the following NPCs:
- Note: Once you talk to the Ascetic, you will automatically be saved at their location. If you die or use a Butterfly Wing, you will return to the Ascetic's spot instead of your previous save point.
2a. Mother Marthilda in Morroc: With the Episode 12 patch, this is no longer an easy NPC to reach. The easiest way to get to this Ascetic is to use the Kafra teleport service to go to Morroc and head north. You will then be on Sograt Desert 07. Mother Marthilda is located in the northwestern corner of the map moc_fild0741355. To return to Prontera and use the Kafra teleport service again.
2b. Father Yosuke in East Geffen: Use the Kafra teleport service to warp to Geffen and walk 2 maps to the east to locate Father Yosuke on Prontera Field 00. It is also possible to reach him by traveling 1 map west, 1 map north, and 1 map west from Prontera. Father Yosuke is located in the center of the map prt_fild00208218.
2c. Father Rubalkabara in East Prontera: Father Rubalkabara is on Prontera Field 03 to the east of Prontera. He is located in the northeastern corner prt_fild03365259. This quest is actually one of the hardest of the three choices due to the Mandragoras on Prontera Field 02 you must pass through.
3. Return to the Priest at the Church to change into an Acolyte.
Builds
I. SUPPORT
a. GAMEPLAY:
This build focuses on aiding your party members in battle through Heal, Blessing, and Increase Agi. Increasing your MATK from INT and equipment is important to increase your Heal amount.
- Alternative gameplay: Soloing and killing Undead monsters by heal bombing them (shift+left click or typing /noshift). This way, you are not relying on another party member to kill.
b. STATS:
Base level 40 base status distribution suggestion. You may allocate certain status points depending on your preference but the idea is to focus on increasing INT and DEX statuses as they increase your MATK.

II. BATTLE ACO
a. GAMEPLAY:
This build focuses on whacking monsters using Mace class weapons. Acolyte classes cannot wield sharp weapons (e.g., Daggers, One Handed Swords, Axe). This build focuses on being able to kill monsters on your own and using your support skills (i.e., Heal, Blessing, and Increase Agi) to keep yourself alive and having high AGI for high ASPD makes this build efficient.
b. STATS:
Base level 40 base status distribution suggestion. You may allocate certain status points depending on your preference but the idea is to focus on maintaining high AGI for high ASPD while maintaining some INT for a decent SP pool to support yourself and DEX to hit monsters.

STATS DESCRIPTION
It is vital that you understand how each status affects your character to play the game well. Below is a summary but go to the Primary Stats page for detailed information.
- STR - increases ATK of melee weapons, increases Weight Limit, and slightly increases ATK of "ranged-type" weapons.
- AGI - increases Flee, ASPD, and provides resistance to Bleeding and Sleep status effects.
- VIT - increases Max HP, effectiveness of Healing potions, and resistance to Stun, Poison, Deadly Poison, Burning, and Freezing status effects.
- INT - increases MATK, Max SP, SP Recovery, and effectiveness of SP potions, decreases Variable Cast Time (VCT), provides resistance to Blind, Silence, and Chaos status effects.
- DEX - decreases Variable Cast Time (VCT), increases HIT, MATK, ATK of "ranged-type" weapons, and slightly increases ATK of "melee-type" weapons.
- LUK - increases ATK, MATK, CRIT, HIT, Flee, Perfect Dodge, Forging, Potion Creation, Cooking, and provides resistance to Blind, Curse, Frozen, Poison, Silence, Sleep, Stone Curse, and Stun.

OVERALL TIPS AND SUGGESTIONS
- Use Heal on Undead Monsters to heal bomb them to death. (Press shift+left click to heal bomb OR type /noshift to not have to shift and just left click).
- Use Blessing on Undead or Demon Monsters to weaken them. (Press shift+left click to Bless OR type /noshift to not have to shift and just left click).
- Use Blessing to remove Curse status.
