Description

Abracadabra (Alt: Hocus Pocus) is a 2nd class active skill available as Sage and Scholar. It casts a skill randomly chosen from character and monster skills in Ragnarok Online. There are a few unique skills that can only be cast through Abracadabra. The skill level affects the breadth of skills that can be cast. Each cast consumes 2 Yellow Gemstones regardless of skill level and will always consume at least 1 Yellow Gemstone even with catalyst modifiers like: Mistress Card or Power Cord.

Note: This skill can only be used in the Bloody Branch room.

Beastly Hypnosis

Tame a monster as if a taming item was used. It only works on monsters that can become pets. This skill shows up as "????" in-game prior to targeting it on a monster.

• Hocus Pocus taming success rate is not increased. See Cute Pet System for a list of tamable monsters.
• Event-exclusive and evolved pets are not tamable through Hocus Pocus.

Class Change

Turns a monster into a random MVP. If used on a mini-boss, the boss will not spawn again until the created monster is killed. This skill shows up as "????" in-game prior to targeting it on a monster.

Coma

Self-cast: Inflcit Coma on the caster, which decreases HP and SP to 1.

Gold Digger

Steals Zeny from a monster like a Rogue's Mug. 100% chance of success.

Grampus Morph

It turns the caster's head into an orc's head.

Grim Reaper

Inflict death on a monster, killing it instantly without giving EXP or loot. It cannot be used on boss monsters. This skill shows up as "????" in-game prior to targeting it on a monster.

Mono Cell

Turns a monster into a Poring. If used on a mini-boss, the boss will not spawn again until this Poring is killed. Cannot be used on boss monsters. This skill shows up as "????" in-game prior to targeting it on a monster.

Monster Chant

Summons a random monster like a Dead Branch.

Questioning

Forces the caster to do the /? emote

Rejuvenation

Completely restores HP and SP of the caster.

Suicide

Inflict instant death upon yourself.

• Note: Dying outside of town incurs EXP loss.
