Description

Wall of Fog (Alt: Blinding Mist) is a 2nd class active skill available as Scholar. It creates a 5x3 area that will protect monsters and players inside, and inflict the Blind status on all enemies inside.

The following effects apply to both monsters and players inside the area:

• Any skills (both magical, physical, and miscellaneous) directly targeting the monsters and players have a 75% chance to miss (therefore auto-casted and AoE skills are unaffected by this).
• Damage of all skills are reduced by 25% targeting the monsters and players.
• Damage of ranged physical normal attacks are reduced by 75% targeting the monsters and players.
• Ranged physical normal attacks targeting the monsters and players have -50 HIT.

These effects apply only while standing inside the area, and lose effect as soon as the players or monsters leave it. The Blind effect when applied on enemy players, only affect them while standing inside the area. For monsters, it has a lingering effect of a duration of 30 seconds, after they leave the area. When cast on Deluge, Wall of Fog's duration is doubled, however a Wall of Fog while placed inside a Deluge will not blind enemies. A Professor may have two Wall of Fogs active at any given time.

Notes

• The Blind status will not affect:
  • The caster or players on PvM maps.
  • Party members in PvP and Guild and alliance members on WoE maps.
  • Boss monsters.
  • Natural immunity through high INT and/or VIT monsters and players.
• Asura Strike does not consume any requirements (SP or Spheres) when failing in Wall of Fog.
