Shield Boomerang is a 2nd class offensive skill available as Crusader and Paladin. It allows the caster to throw their shield at an enemy, dealing damage based on their shield's weight.

Shield Boomerang's base damage is based on the caster's base ATK from stats, shield refine, and shield weight, and follows this formula:

Base damage = Base ATK + 4 * Shield Refine + Shield Weight
  • The ATK ratio is then applied to the base damage, as well as any %-based damage modifier cards.
  • And lastly, the increased damage from Crusader Spirit is applied if applicable.
  • Note that Shield Boomerang calculates reduction from DEF before the skill ratio is applied.


  • Requires user to have a shield equipped.
  • Shield Boomerang carries status effects from cards or special weapons like Sword Breakers and Mail Breakers.
  • The damage dealt from Shield Boomerang is always Neutral.
  • Anything that adds or effects weapon-type ATK does not add damage; base weapon ATK, weapon upgrades, Mastery Skills, Spirit Spheres, Provoke, Magnum Break bonus, Impositio Manus, etc.
