Description

Joint Beat is a 2nd class offensive skill available as Lord Knight. It is a ranged attack that deals insignificant damage and has a chance to cause 1 of 6 abnormal status effects on the enemy:

The success rate is based on the following formula:

Success chance (%) = (50 * (Skill Level + 1) - (270 * Enemy Strength) ÷ 100) * 10

and the duration of the statuses is based on the following formula:

Duration (sec) = 30 - (LUK ÷ 4 + AGI ÷ 10)

Notes

  • Requires a Spear weapon.
  • Joint Beat's ATK ratio is only higher than a basic attack at level 6 and higher. At levels 1-4, it does less damage than a basic attack, and at level 5 it does the same.
  • There is no indication of success upon inflicting a status on the target besides general observation.
  • The statuses all stack.
  • The duration of the statuses is reset each time a status is inflicted.
