Description

Severe Rainstorm is a support party skill useable by transcendent Bard and Dancer classes. Severe Rainstorm has a base effect, but this effect will change drastically based on if specific songs are being played by the performer.

Each cast requires 10 arrows, but does not apply any damage to enemies or allies alike. Below you will find a table listing Severe Rainstorm's effect based on which song the performer is currently playing.

Note that the performer's song skills still maintain their normal effects while the rainstorm persists, this is simply an additional bonus effect.

Clown	Poem of Bragi	Party members hit by the rainstorm are immediately cleansed of stuns, slows, and chaos statuses. Additionally, quagmires on the ground are removed.
Clown	A Whistle	Party members hit by the rainstorm gain a 20% chance to dodge incoming instances of damage similar to a Kaupe type effect.
Clown	Assassin Cross of Sunset	Party members hit by the rainstorm gain 10% critical strike damage while the rainstorm persists.
Clown	Apple of Idun	Party members hit by the rainstorm recover 500 HP per second while the rainstorm persists.
Gypsy	Service for You	Party members hit by the rainstorm recover 70 SP per second while the rainstorm persists.
Gypsy	Lady Luck	Party members hit by the rainstorm have their skills that cannot normally critically strike gain the ability to do so. These critical strikes function differently and do not ignore defense and instead increase damage by 15%.
Gypsy	Humming	Party members hit by the rainstorm have size modifiers on their weapon normalized to 100% similar to a Weapon Perfection type effect. Additionally the party gains 20% perfect hit on their attacks and skills.
Gypsy	Slow Grace	Party members hit by the rainstorm gain speed potion level move speed for 4 seconds when touched by the rainstorm.

Mechanics

• The effects of the songs will linger slightly longer than the rainstorm themselves if the party member is hit near the end of the cast.

• Critical Strike damage modifiers, including those added by Severe Rainstorm do not affect the unique critical strike applied by the Lady Luck variant. Critical Strikes on spells will always deal 15% increased damage.

• Spells that can already critically strike to ignore defense, such as Sharp Shooting do not interact with the critical strike bonus of the Lady Luck variant.

• Critical Strikes on the lady luck variant are based on the caster's critical strike chance.

• The speed potion movement speed buff functions the same as a normal speed potion and will override your move speed rather than stack with existing buffs.

• Severe Rainstorm affects the caster.

• Performers cannot utilize the effects of the opposite gender's rainstorm effects, such as a Gypsy playing Poem of Bragi, or a Clown playing Service for You.

• All party members can only be affected by one effect of Severe Rainstorm at a time from each gender for a total of up to two effects.

• Even though this skill is ground targeted, it ignores the effects of Land Protector.

Notes

• Asura Strike cannot critically strike with the Lady Luck variant of this skill.

• This skill cannot be cast in War of Emperium, Battlegrounds, RWC, or PVP modes.
