Overview

The MVP Instance System allows players to access content that generally was time, gear, or player restricted. Players who pay the material requirements or use MVP Tokens have a chance at the MVP's normal loot table and will receive an MVP Token for participating. Players may also enter an instance without paying but will not receive loot. Every MVP Instance requires different materials and each has a cooldown equal to three times the MVP's normal spawn time (listed below).

Fruit

On MVP maps, unless impractical, there is an NPC named Fruit. She will ask if your party would like to take on the Instance and if you would like to pay with the materials or use 10 MVP Tokens. To join an instance with others, everyone MUST be in a party. After the party leader initiates the instance other party members can then enter. You do not have to pay to join, but if you want to get the loot you must pay when you decide to go into the instance. Everyone who pays will always roll loot since they paid to start it up. however, if your instance is on cooldown no loot can be obtained. Players on cooldown or who don't pay can still join to help, but will only receive EXP.

The instances are clones of the maps the MVP normally spawns on. If an MVPs has a fixed spawn it will spawn there. All monsters and map hazards still exist on these cloned maps. All monsters on the instance map give experience; however, none of them drop loot. You should go in, kill the MVP and get out!

Restrictions

  • MVPs Instance cooldowns are account and computer restricted. You may multi-client in the instance, but only one account will be able to pay for loot.
  • MVP Cards do NOT drop in instances.
  • The drop rate for Old Card Albums is 75% of their normal drop rates (ex. Mistress' OCA is 5% instead of 20%).
  • MVP loot drops are 100% of their normal rates, but there are no MVP Rewards.
  • Biolabs 3 has additional restrictions:
    • You can CHOOSE which MVP you want to take down out of the six.
    • All Bio 3 MVPs share a global 24-hour cooldown, you can only receive loot from one per day.
    • You must defeat the rest individually before they are reset. If you defeat Eremes on day 1, you must defeat Seyren, Margaretha, Kaythrine, Cecil, and Howard over the next 5 days before Eremes becomes available again.
    • No matter how long you wait this will not reset.
    • Fruit is found in Bio 2 just before the entrance to Bio 3; however, you must still meet the level requirements to go to Bio 3.
