Soul Linker/Ascetic Adjustments
Based on some feedback, we are making a few adjustments to Soul Linker/Ascetic's stacking for Unleashed Spirit to make it feel smoother in play.
1.) Orb stacks now apply as Soul Linker again. They are simply applied to a monster for each time they are hit with Esma.
2.) Monsters with orb stacks now take 2.5% more damage per orb stack from the Soul Linker/Ascetic that applied them.
3.) Unleashed Spirit's base duration changed to 3/6/10/15 seconds, based on number of Spirit stacks when used.
4.) Hitting an enemy with 4 orb stacks increases duration of Unleashed Spirit by 15 seconds.
5.) Orb stacks are no longer consumed when increasing duration of Unleashed Spirit. However, Unleashed Spirit's duration can only be increased once while its active.
6.) During Unleashed Spirit, every other Esma apply an orb stack to the enemy instead of every Esma.
This can all sound a bit confusing, but what this means is simply that you are not punished if the monster you are currently hitting does not have 4 orb stacks when you cast Unleashed Spirits. Now you can simply get your own stacks, cast Unleashed Spirit, and then if you hit an enemy with 8 Esmas (so 4 orb stacks are applied), you can then increase your duration.
Generally the gameplay will be the same, but now it shouldn't feel as punishing for small mistakes.
