Magma Dungeon 3

Introduction

Magma Dungeon 3 is a custom addition on Alfheim to the traditional Magma Dungeon. It introduces "Rigid" version of the original monsters from Magma Dungeon, as well as a new MVP.

There are a number of restrictions placed on the map:

• Monsters will take 1 damage while rooted/immobilized.
• No Ice Wall and no Teleport.
• Reflect based autocasts will deal 1 damage.
• Star Gladiators cannot assign hatred or the map itself, and Miracle cannot proc.

MVP

The fight vs Muspellskoll is completely custom, and is not similar to anything seen in vanilla. There are four different modes to this fight; solo, normal, hard, and nightmare. Solo has its own cooldown, while normal, hard, and nightmare share cooldowns. Both cooldowns are a week long, however, they can be bypassed once during the week. This means that both the solo and normal/hard/nightmare can be done twice a week, resulting in being able to get rewards from Muspellskoll four times a week. Solo Muspellskoll has 3.5 million HP, normal has 35 million HP, hard has 70 million HP, and nightmare has 105 million HP. To account for the different difficulty levels, the items drop rates are also adjusted based on the difficulty. Solo has 25% reduced drop rate, normal's drop rate is as listed below, hard has 200% increased drop rate, and nightmare has 300% increased drop rate. In the solo fight versus Muspellskoll the player has 50% cast time and cast delay reduction, which stacks additively with cast time and delay reduction from equipment. To experience the fight yourself, a quest is required.

Craftable Gear

Similar to Niflheim Dungeon you can craft items by collecting Magma Essence and then adding in various items based on what you are trying to craft with Tristan, whom you can find at que_god019894. Each item requires 1,000,000 zeny in addition to the crafting materials.

You can also re-roll random options on the gears that have them just like with Niflheim Dungeon as well for 50 Magma Essence per reroll.
