Max Pain is a supportive buff skill exclusive to monsters.
Effect
Root of Corruption casting Max Pain
Casts a barrier on itself that turns itself orange. Then for a short duration, all attacks received are redirected out as a AoE attack.

Notes
- This is not Reflect Type Damage.
Tips
- Stop attacks and wait until monster is not golden anymore.
- Safety Wall and Pneuma do not block max pain.
- Cicada Skin Shed blocks 1 hit too. (?)
- Spell Breaker can interrupt its cast time, but no longer works on MVP.
- Dispell cancel Max Pain buff. (Note: Root of Corruption summons Maggots on Cast Sensor. Casting Dispell while Root is casting prevents summoning)
