1. Talk to Ford in [[Geffen]] {{navi|geffen|110|117}} and you'll be asked to find a Soldier {{navi|gef_fild13|297|242}}.

2. Prepare 1 {{item |id=501 Red Potion}} for the soldier and return to Ford for further help.

3. Proceed to the [[Prontera]] Church to find Arther Pastor {{navi|prt_church|87|127}} for assistance to cure the soldier.

4. Collect 20 {{item |id=938 Sticky Mucus}}, 3 {{item |id=713 Empty Bottles}}, 5 {{item |id=909 Jellopy}}, 1 {{item |id=1003 Coal}}, 1 {{item |id=514 Grape}}, 3 {{item |id=7053 Cyfar}} and 1 {{item |id=619 Unripe Apple}} to prepare an antidote.

5. Race the antidote back to the Soldier to cure him. If you fail, return to Arther Pastor for another antidote.

6. Once successful, you'll be taught [[Shrink]].
